Category — Nice

I’m glad we stopped in Nice for a day.  The kids had a blast at the beach (rocks, actually) and the water is a color I’ve never seen before in real life.  This picture is not enhanced in any way – it is really that color right up to the beach.  I guess that’s why they call it the Cote D’Azure…

And, of course, the scenery, both natural and a-hem, man-made, is very nice.  However, there are a LOT of people there.  Really much too crowded for our tastes on a regular basis.  Everyone was very nice (more than we can say about our initial experiences here in Italy) but there were just too many of them .
